What is motivation?

 

Motivation involved those processes that initiate, energize, direct or driver to a certain behavior toward an individual's goal (Reeve, 2014).

What's the Problem?

Marketers often struggle in attracting customer to be engaged with the company or involve in buying behavior.  We all know customer engagement plays a vital role to a company. It is an emotional connection between a customer and a brand/company. Gallup research indicated that fully-engaged customers hold 23% more revenue than the average (Sorenson & Adkins, 2014). However, marketers find it is difficult in doing a great job in motivating consumer's behavior.

The question is how to effectively create motivation on consumer's buying/brand engagement behavior?
